The Venue

Gleis 22 is the distinctive flagship of the youth information and education center (Jib). The facility of the Department for Children, Youth and Families of the City of Münster has existed since 1974 and is home to a variety of cultural initiatives.

Countless volunteers regularly engage in various groups, creating an extremely diverse and rich program. Concerts, parties, workshops, readings, training events and other events take place regularly – an institution with impact far beyond the city limits.

Since 1987, over 2,000 concerts with more than 4,000 bands and artists have been organized. The volunteer concert team follows the motto "Bring favorite bands to Münster".
